Jackson County GOP Holds Annual Spring Event
May 18 - The Jackson County Republicans recently held their annual spring event at the at the Clinton Engines Museum Program Center in Maquoketa. This year, the event was a Legislative Wrap-up luncheon. Speaking at the event was State House Member Steve Lukan and State Senator Shawn Hamerlinck who spoke about what happened during the recently ended legislative session. Jackson County Supervisor Jack Willey also spoke on recent issues dealt with by the Board of Supervisors and discussed the upcoming election in 2010.
