March 19 - On March 6th Jackson County Republicans met to convene the biennial Jackson County Republican Convention. Highlights of the convention included statements from several Republican candidates, some of who attended to deliver their message in person. Also, the Jackson County Republican platform was adopted and Delegates and Alternates to the District and State Convention were elected.
